Illinois High School Streaming - Week 7

It's conference play time.... thus, some teams need to snag a win, in order to make the playoffs... so who will win? who will upset? or will the top teams continue their winning ways? There's only one way to know, by playing the games... Carmel Catholic 24, Joliet Catholic 31 (OT) Ty Isaac is back???? Well Friday night he put his team, Joliet Catholic, on his shoulders and snagged a victory in overtime 31-24. He finished the contest with 30 carries for 219 yards and a touchdown, but the USC recruit saved his best for last. He gave the Hilltoppers the lead in overtime as he got in the end zone from from 5 yards. Broadcast your high school on High School Cube   Notre Dame 14, Marist 21 Marist D prevails in a BIG win over Notre Dame 21-14 on their homecoming to remain undefeated... This game had upset written ALL over it until Jack Barry, defensive back, came up with two huge plays to help swing the momentum. First Barry picked off a pass by Dan Nagode and gave the RedHawks the ball at the 50 to start a scoring drive that ended with an 8-yard catch by Nic Weishar, next Barry scooped up a fumble from Notre Dame junior Chris James "We knew we had to make a play sometime," Barry said. "We couldn't just let them keep going down the field. We had to turn the game around. The (interception) I saw coming right to me. I knew I had it. On the fumble, it was a great play by the (defensive line), whoever forced the ball out. It was perfect. It just came right to me with an open field. It couldn't have been any better."
