Crete-Monee knocked off Southland conference foe Rich Central 44-14 handily. Senior quarterback, Marcus Terrell, threw two touchdown passes to Lance Lenoir, one from 5 yards away, the other from 21 yards. The Warriors scored also on the ground - on the legs of Darius Thomas. Rich Central got in the end zone late by two passes on to Ahmad McClellan and Arthur Sutton.

Earlier this week, Crete-Monee wide receiver Laquon Treadwell will go on three official visits including Missouri, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. “Michigan, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame came by the school this week,” Treadwell said. “Coach Hecklinski from Michigan said he is going to recruit me hard for the rest of the way out, and take no days off. ‘Notre Dame just wants to see if I can get out and visit a game, maybe take an official.”

So far, Missouri, Ole Miss and Oklahoma are on his schedule — but plenty remain interested.

“I know what I can do to help a team and that is what I have to look at,” Treadwell said. “I have to look at what I can do to help, not where they stand now.”
