SPECIAL write-up from Laura Orange from Crete Bulldogs...
Crete Bulldogs Junior Varsity Cheerleading squad received 2nd place at the
2008 SWCCL Best of the Best Competition. Competing at the 6th Grade Show
Small level, this squad of 11 talented girls worked hard to perfect the
routine of cheer and dance. Some skills performed include twist up to
extension, half hitch in pyramid, basket toss with specialty, toe touch,
herkie, one handed cartwheel, and back handspring. The Crete Bulldogs
organization has been teaching youth sports football and cheerleading
fundamentals, techniques, teamwork, and sportsmanship for 41 years.

Congratulations to all the girls from all the squads.
During intermission the crowed was wowed by one of the South Suburbs Premier Nationally Competitive Cheer teams Xtreme Cheer and Dance Force out of Orland Park. As always Xtreme’s Cheerleaders were TOTALLY AWSOME!
