Dolphins outpace Cavaliers

CHICAGO - Are the Dolphins all sharing the same stroke?

On Sunday night, they shared the ball and had balanced scoring to knock off the Cavaliers 64 - 44 in the quarterfinals of the Public League playoffs at UIC.

Young (19-8) opened the second quarter with a 10-2 run to grab a substantial lead of 28-15 and they never looked back.

Senior Marcus Jordan led the team with 14 points followed by junior guard Ahmad Starks scored 13 and Chris Colvin finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Junior Hollis Hill led Vocational (24-5) with 16 points and Aaron Williams added 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Young will face North Lawndale in the semifinals Wednesday at DePaul in a rematch of the “game of the year.” Get your popcorn ready folks!
