Country Club Hills (PeeWee), South Holland (PeeWee), and Markham (Jr. Varsity) finished the regular season undefeated, and at the time of this writing, the Patriots (Jr. Varsity) have the most offensive points. NOTE: University Park (Varsity) didn't complete their week 9 game. The league experienced their first tie of the season... Hazel Crest vs. Eastside (Varsity) 20-20. Calumet City (Widgets) loss their first game of the regular season to Kankakee 6-0. Hopefully, they will NOT carry that taste in their mouths into the playoffs especially since they are the number one seed. We would also like to congratulate Country Club Hills, Park Forest and South Holland PeeWee teams for joining the 200 point club. TEAM AMATEURSPORTS is walking this Sunday... Please SUPPORT us by clicking the above picture... Our final observation after a full season of play is time sure does fly when you are having fun... and we truly hope that all of the parents and athletes alike recognize and appreciate all of the work each and every organization has put in to your children for the last three months. Win or lose, sportsmanship and the ability to gel and work as a team, is always near the top of the lessons learned in sports... and we hope those lessons were learned. Congratulations to all of the teams that made it to the next season, the playoffs... this includes the two new teams that their transition into the WCK, Calumet City and Dixmoor, both of whom has playoff berths. The Thunderbolts made it to the playoffs at every level except Varsity, while the Vikings will be represented a the Varsity level. On another note, every team that won the 2011 WCK Superbowl are in the playoffs this year with even more experience and hunger. Stay tune.... PLAYOFF BRACKETS... WIDGET PEEWEE Jr. VARSITY VARSITY |
