Mount Carmel vs. Naperville CentralCHICAGO - After a rough start, Mount Carmel has turned it around behind the efforts of quarterback Jordan Lynch and the high powered defense.Naperville Central lost to Mount Carmel two years ago in the quarterfinals so coach Mike Stine understands the position they are in right now. One of the keys of the game was for Naperville's quarterback Linne and running back Kukuc to have a good game. But on this unseasonably warm night, the Caravan didn't get spooked by the Redhawks. After a bad handoff from Jordan Lynch to Milton Greer, Greer was able to recover the ball and sprint for an early touchdown. Greer finished the game with over 200 yards on the ground. The second half came with a barrage of penalty flags for both teams.... A 60 yard pitch - touchdown was ruled a forward pass and called back. The Redhawks also had a 95 yard return called back due to a penalty. The Redhawks were able to score including on a 33 yard pass from Nick Linne to Riley O’Toole.
