"We've
been turning it up the last couple of games," Fejedelem said. "The defense
was just fired up."
Lemont racked up 168 yards on the ground, led by Danny Hayes' 60 yards and
Tomala's 54.
Morgan Park finished 7-4 and played the entire season without its best
player, defensive end Craig Drummond, who watched the loss from the press
box sporting an Illinois cap since he recently committed to them.
Drummond (6-5, 270) suffered a high-ankle sprain over the summer, and his
parents decided to have him sit out the season to avoid re-injuring his
ankle.
The Indians (11-0), last year's 6A runners-up, will face Grant (8-3) in
the quarterfinals.
