Lincoln-Way North fall to Lockport. . .
Frankfort - Lincoln-Way North, unfortunately, can not get their first victory of the season and fall to Lockport 0 - 19 and Amateur Sports News Network was there. On this night, North had to fight more than Lockport, they had to overcome Mother Nature, as well as a power outage. In the second half, the power went out on the field for about 15 minutes. "It was very scary at first" said a fan at the game. "But, when I heard the announcer inform everyone that they had the game under control, I had a sigh of relief."
Lockport was able to move the ball during the first half but only to score 5 points at the half: an intentional grounding call in the end zone resulting to a safety called and a field goal. North's QB Tait Erikson finished the game with 67 yards passing and 35 yards on the ground. We thank Athletic Director Matthew Lyke for all of this hospitality and look forward to covering future events of Lincoln-Way North. For photos taken at the game, click here. We are always looking for additional personnel.
