What do I mean when I say breathe & stop?
Many of us have turned up things a notch in our lives, call it "burning the candle at both ends", some of us have done this inadvertently or by choice or by necessity.

I know many people in this "recession" who work full-time jobs and also maintain a side hustle of some type ie., they do hair, sell Avon or Mary Kay, sell real estate on the side etc. Many also do all of this while trying to balance kids, family etc.

I am encouraging you to just take a deep breath and then stop for a moment. I know some of us feel like if we don't "keep it movin" , we will miss out on the next check. Way the cost if you don't slow down or Stop for a minute.

Too many people I know don't slow down enough to even read their mail (snail mail), are making late or missing payments on bills not because of lack of money, but not paying attention to due dates....also, sometimes some of us can't or won't slow down to research and clip money saving coupons for a trip to the grocery store. We are delaying too much of what is important.

We are moving just too, too fast.

I have met potential clients that say, " I have been thinking about getting some life insurance or I was just talking to my spouse about starting a college plan or I never got around to looking into more vehicles for my retirement." We are busy!

In my world, there is "good busy" and "bad busy"..."good busy" means that though you are busy, you are or will be positively impacted by your productivity. "Bad busy" means that you are not going to reap anything from what you sow, and you are mainly "cleaning up or tending to a problem".

I encourage you to take a moment breathe & stop, sit down and go over your finances, read your mail, write a list of everything you have been putting off to accomplish financially. Putting off some things that don't seem like they will immediately impact you and your family, can effect you adversely in the short and long term. One thing you can't put off til tomorrow is LIFE INSURANCE!
