ASNN365 - What a wonderful weekend full of excitement as the Will-Cook league kickoffs. As everyone headed out to the field, feels their team is headed to the superbowl. On this Sunday, every team is in first place... let's see who stays on top.

Amateur Sports split our initial coverage into two separate sites... We were at the Markham Patriots vs. Richton Park Raiders game (Rich South High School), as well as Matteson Bears vs. Eastside Bulldogs game (Lincoln Way North High School) shooting live video and capturing the game in motion.

WIDGET
Over at Rich South High School, the Raiders stroke first with an 8 yard touchdown run in the first quarter by Ahron Ulis. Mr. Ulis scored two more times on this afternoon (30 yards and short 22 yarder). In addition, to that score Khaden Harris broke free up the middle for a score in the second quarter. He also scored again about a minute later. Final score: 33-0 - for all scores click here.

PeeWee
This was the ultimate battle of field position, play calling and counter-play calling that you could see at this level. Both teams were fighting hard for each positive yard they received and when the smoke cleared, it was the Patriots who obtained the victory on a quarterback keep from the two yard line. Final score: 6-0
