Jailyn Norris had 24 points and five steals while Charnelle Reed had 20 points, seven rebounds and eight assists for Homewood-Flossmoor.

TK Weathersby had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead Hyde Park (1-0). Paris Bradley had 14 points and eight boards and Katherine Harris also scored 14 and dished eight assists.

Morgan Park Academy 56, Christian Liberty 38
Kiera Morris led Morgan Park Academy (1-0) with 19 points.

Shepard 37, Chicago Christian 31
Raynisha Dent had 15 points, seven rebounds and seven steals for Shepard (1-0). Jamila McClinton added 10 points and six rebounds.

Dorothy Taylor scored 12 points and had 14 rebounds for Thornwood.
