The Wildcats had three players with double digits including Marquette bound Reggie Smith led the Cats’ with 19, followed by Brian Greene who had 13, and senior guard Jay Parker with 11. Rich East scored just 11 points in the second quarter, as well as the third. Thornton will face Class 2A champs Seton Monday night at 530p. Bolingbrook 55 – Marian Catholic 50 Big man Brian Gates knocked down consecutive in the paint lay-ups to move the needle for the team. He finished the game with 18 points. Dominic Jackson followed his lead and began knocking down his shots. The Spartans got the game within 5 coming down the
stretch, but the Raiders proved to be too much in this contest controlling the clock and ball in the forth to advance with a victory of 55-50. This explains why after the game, Bolingbrook's coach, Rob Brost, put up a message on the chalkboard which said "Don't expect to be very good if lapses like this continue." Bolingbrook had four starters in double digits including Delorean Weatherall and LaTree Russell both had 14 points; Antione Cox had 13 points; and Ryan Walker had 12 points. Brian Gates led all Raiders with 14 points. The Raiders will face Hales Monday at 4pm. Leo 54 - Bloom Township 51 Christopher Lockhart led all scorers with 21 points, while teammate Isaac Smith added 13. Crete-Monee 79 - Shepard 53 James Crockett had a good showing in his first game from his ankle injury scoring 13. Bernard Burnette led Shepard with 14 points.
