Chi-Town Cheerleaders
|
Founders / Coaches: Paulette
Franklin and Ayesha El-Amin Calhoun For over 19 years, CHI-TOWN Cheerleaders have been flipping, dancing and
cheering in the Chicagoland area plus several of states, such as Florida,
Tennessee, Ohio, and Minnesota.
But in Chicago, they are the preferred All-Star team in Chicago by
Mayor Richard M. Daley. |
Behind the direction of Coach Paulette Franklin,
who ranks among the top five coaches in the nation for her leadership in dance,
and Ayesha El-Amin Calhoun, who is a national award winning coach with
expertise in tumbling, dance, and choreography, the team has soared through the
clouds headed for the stars.
Talk about a perfect compliment of guidance that is
making every attempt to take their children to the next level.
And from their vision, plus dedication of parents,
they have captured tons of awards and recognitions, including Junior Olympic
Champions winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and most recently captured three first place titles at
the State of Illinois championship at Northern Illinois University, to name a
couple. They are also two time Dance Grand
Champions at the Wild Jam in Peoria.
They have three teams: Doves (level 1); Diva's
(level 3) and Showstoppers (level 5), and their ages range from 5 to 17. The team is mostly made up of Chicago
Public School students.
CHI-TOWN has developed a cooperative program with
the Chicago Public Schools and Park Districts to facilitate a successful
fitness and athletic program for the team.
CHI-TOWN provides family entertainment for all
events and occasions. If you are interested in a performance for your event, or
would like to sponsor the team, please call (773) 863-1142, or visit them

Chi-Town is a not for
