also added a 2-run home run in the win.
Mount Carmel 3, Oak Park 2
Jerry Houston had just 1 hit Saturday, but it drove
in the game-winning run for Mount Carmel (31-6).
Jeff Boehm went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and Dan
Pappas was 2-for-3 with a double and 2 runs scored
in the win. John Kravetz went all 7 innings,
allowing just a single hit and striking out 8 for
the win.

Peter Resnick tossed a no-hitter, allowing just a
single walk and striking out 10, to earn the win for
Glenbrook North (32-3). Brett Synek (2-for-3, R,
RBI), Chad Bruce (1-for-2, RBI) and Jack Day
(1-for-3, RBI) led the offense.
Lincoln-Way East 3, Lincoln-Way North 0
Matt Rosenberger went 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs and Alec
Ornelas had a hit and an RBI for East (24-11). Mark
Chemello tossed a complete game, striking out 4 to
get the victory on the mound.
Mount Carmel 12, Clemente 2 (6 innings)
Tom Hayes had a 3-run home run and Sam Kint went
3-for-4 with a 2-run homer for Mount Carmel (30-6).
Tyler Laurisch earned the win, going all 6 innings
and striking out 5.

Peter Bonahoom hit a 2-run homer in the 5th inning
to break a 3-3 tie. Jack Landwehr went the distance
for the win, allowing no earned runs and striking
out 8 for Prospect (24-8).

Brandon Magallones earned the win on the mound for
Providence.

Mother McAuley's Caroline Usher scored the winning
run in the bottom of the 7th inning on a wild pitch.
Megan Bush and Alex Raske each had 3 hits in the

Winning pitcher Lora Olson gave up 3 hits, struck
out 9 and walked none for Sandburg (27-6).

Jourdan Skirha hit a double and scored 3 runs and

hits and struck out 7 in the win.

Arefes Everette went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs for
Kenwood, including the game-winning, walk-off hit.

Winning pitcher Mac Sinclair (CG, 9 K) went 1-for-4
with a home run to lead Univeristy (11-7). Jeremy

Jake Hickey had 3 hits and Dan Huizenga added 2
hits, including a double, and drove in one for
Lincoln-Way East.

Jack Irace went 3-for-3 with a run scored for
Lincoln-Way North (30-3). Jack Harper struck out 8
to get the complete game win.

Danny Rafferty threw a complete game for Loyola
(16-19), giving up 2 runs on 6 hits and striking out
13. Max Hogan went 2-for-4, hitting a double and a
home run that combined for 5 RBIs.

in the loss.

Oak Forest's Kyle Funkhouser tossed a complete game,
striking out 14 for the win. Brian Richard went
2-for-2 with 2 walks and an RBI.

Jack Roback threw a complete game for St. Francis
(23-12) giving up 6 hits and striking out 8 without
walking anyone. On offense, Tom Ameche went 2-for-2

Thunderbolts (27-9), striking out 5 and scattering 4

Nora McGuire had a 3-run home run and Julianna Rurka
added a solo shot for Benet.
Homewood-Flossmoor 4, Stagg 1
Kaitlyn Shereyk had 2 home runs and 3 RBIs and Alex
Bitto and Bree Cimino each went 2-for-3 for
Homewood-Flossmoor (19-14). Sarah Burke struck out 5
in the circle to earn the win.

Winning pitcher Taylor Weisenhofer struck out 11 and
only gave up 3 hits in 7 innings.

Carly Jaworski pitched a complete game for Lemont

Emily Norton struck out 8 of the first 9 batters in
the game and Colleen Sherwood closed out the win
facing just the minimum in 2 innings. Norton went
3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored and Emily
Naegele was 2-for-3 and scored 2 runs
