Jahmia Phillips... to describe her game play coach John Maniatis simply said “Wow!” She had the team high of 22 and 16 of those came in the second half when they were needed the most to lead the team to the Final Four. Shannise Heady played big in the game as well finishing with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 OUTSTANDING blocks down the stretch. Galesburg's senior Jessica Howard had 22 points including six 3-pointers. She led Galesburg with 22 points, including six 3-pointers, making her the new state record holder for 3s made in a season with 139.

Keshawnee Alley led Marshall to victory with 18 points, eight boards and four blocks, Woods added 13 points. This is Commandos 19th Final Four. They also have eight state titles, three seconds and six third-place finishes.

The Raiders used a 15-3 run late in the third period to grab a 40-27 lead and that helped it capture a 59-45 win over Edwardsville at Monday's Class 4A supersectional at Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington.

"In the first half we let our offense dictate our defense," Massengale said. "When we went in at halftime, we saw the game as being 0-0 again. I thought if we could get off to a good start then, we could put them away early."

This is the third straight year Bolingbrook defeated in the supers.


Morgan Tuck led the way with 20 points and grabbed six rebounds for Bolingbrook. Ariel Massengale also chipped in 17 points.

ST. XAVIER UNIVERSITY SUPERSECTIONAL
Young 74, Marian Catholic 52
Dolphins were led by Jenkins who had 19 points followed by Kiana Johnson who added 16 points. Simone Law and Jasmine Matthews each tallied 21 points for Marian Catholic.
